My philosophy of education is fairly simple. I believe that all children deserve the right to learn and it is my responsibility to differentiate instruction and provide them with all the materials they need to succeed. I believe in personal relationships with each student and family. I want the families of my students to feel very welcome in my classroom. Learning can occur in every minute of the day especially through the simplest form of embedded instruction. I also welcome the help of outside specialists and will involve them in the curriculum in any way I can. My teachers were huge supporters of me, which is a main reason why I was successful in my school career. I am forever grateful for the positive impact they had on my life and I hope to have the same impact on my students in my future career.
